Pokemon Smash- Stream Finished

The stream is now over, thanks to those who tuned in. Sadly we did not get anything new from todays Pokemon Smash, but if you would like a recap on what happened hit the “more” button for the full live blog transcript! There is also promise of new movie and game info next week, but most likely that information will have already been revealed in CoroCoro.

Original Post: There are about 5 minutes before the stream starts, and as reported in the previous news post we are expected to get some kind of XY announcement, so stay tuned. We will be updating this post throughout the stream so you don’t have to worry about missing anything. For those who haven’t watched one of these before, Pokemon Smash is an hour long and will feature a rerun of one of the Pokemon anime episodes in between a bunch of very Japanese Pokemon related antics.

4:37- Not much to note as of yet, but they did show a trailer for the Genesect movie. The episode being aired today is Episode 41, The Heartbreak of Brock.

4:51- ZephyrSonic having some issues with the program, but has back-up in case it happens during an important time which is good to know. Lots of rumors and speculation swirling around at the moment. On a personal note, I love this episode.

5:01- Learning how to make paper airplanes.

5:04- An eeveelution appeared, but it just a Leafeon giving people some nasty food apparently.

5:08- An Espeon appeared and… handed two fellows a piece of paper.

5:12- Grown men dressed up as eeveelutions. This time it’s Jolteon.

5:23- They showed the X and Y trailer and some sort of convention, but nothing new. Now showing a Wi-Fi battle, only a few minutes to go. This might be all we get.

5:30- And that’s it! Nothing new. And for those reading this later on in the evening, no, none of this makes any more sense in context.

    That is the reason i hate timezones and i wish the earth was flat because it is half an hour past midnight here

    I find it weird that they sort of announced XY, and were like “here, new pokemon news!” and then walked away. :/ i mean NOTHING new has come. you’d figure the website would be up, there’d be news and leaks every day, but nope, nothing, nada. maybe it’s part of the international release deal, they’re keeping things under-wraps so everyone knows stuff at the same time. if that’s the case, corocoro might not actually reveal anything :/ normally, i would doubt it, but it seems they’re actually trying this time. :/
