Nintendo Direct Announcement PokemonMini?

So at 2pm GMT (9am EST) Nintendo will announce something on Nintendo Direct. All they have said is that it will be something to do with Wii U and some new titles. What will it be? Well rumors have filtered down that it will be the release of GameCube games for virtual console right away, but I seem to think there will be still something for us Pokemon Fans. Hit the jump to see what I dug up on their website.

Hearing about the Nintendo Direct last night through my Twitter feed got me excited, but there’s no Pokemon. So what of it, but with rumors of something Zelda I had to know then and there and having looked through the source code on Nintendo Direct’s website, I have found this.

As you can see from what I highlighted around line 306, something has popped up called Pokemon mini. Could this be something for GenVI titles, or another Pokemon Ranch for our Wii U? I’m very interested anyway!

Also the code makes mention of a Wii U virtual console for the GameCube. But that might be something for the guys at Zelda Dungeon to talk about. All I know is that my lunch today finishes at 2, and I’m gonna be parked in front of my computer waiting for this news. If it doesn’t come out today, then what does the code mean? Are they working on it? I guess I just have to wait and find out.

Looking at the other things surrounding it, it is clearly referring to the Pokémon mini console ( http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Pok%C3%A9mon_mini ). Chances are it will be available on Virtual Console.

    Well, it is already emulated on Pokemon Channel anyway (well, many of the games).
    
    Looking at other Nintendo Direct page sources (view-source:http://www.nintendo.co.uk/Misc-/Nintendo-Direct/2013/Pokemon-Direct-08-01-2013/Nintendo-Direct-699626.html view-source:http://www.nintendo.co.uk/Misc-/Nintendo-Direct/2012/Nintendo-Direct-5-12-2012/Nintendo-Direct-05-12-2012-699230.html) they seem to just list all of their consoles and consoles they have on Virtual Console. I don’t think they actually mean anything (unless the other Nintendo Directs have gained these in their page sources due to today’s).

      Well as of yet there is no virtual console on the Wii U, so at least there is something out of this. Either way, I want to be able to use something on my Wii U other than PBR and Pokemon Rumble. The later being the best

        Actually, they released Balloon Fight for the Virtual Console(at a bargain of 0.30$!) just the other day, so the Virtual Console is out.
